Life is busy and noisey, and it can feel like there isn’t enough time for “us”. So we rest in front of the TV, scroll social media, get a massage, or hug a bolster at a Yin class. All well and good, but does it actually “fill us back up” in a meaningful and lasting way? Or does it just provide a bit of a circuit breaker in our reality?
I think listening to yourself (your intuition) is one of the most meaningful things we can do. It’s like a guide for life, and specifically your own life that will not lead you astray. This workshop is an invitation to return inward, to quiet the noise around you and within you and reconnect with your intuition.
Through meditation, pranayama (breathwork), gentle movement and reflection, space is created for you to reawaken and reconnect with the quiet wisdom already within.
1-2pm Sunday June 21
In celebration of International Yoga Day
Hosted at Restoring Wellness, 716A Gilbert Rd, Reservoir, VIC
No experience with yoga or meditation necessary
Movement will be soft and brief (about 5mins). There is the option to find stillness instead of movement if that better suits your body
All practices are guided
Those pregnant are welcome
Wear comfy clothes, bring a journal, pen and water bottle. Mats and props are provided, but if you prefer bring your own you can.
Please arrive 5 to 10 mins prior to our 1pm start.
